Our faith foundaitons...
Urban Village is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and part of the 1001 New Worshiping Communities initiative.
At Urban Village we take our faith in Christ seriously, but we also seek to embody the principles of preach the gospel at all times, if necessary use words and they will know we are Christians by our love.
This means that in many of our programs and activities, you will not see us pick up a Bible, point to the cross, or say a prayer...yet our faith and sharing the abundant welcome and love of Christ underlie all that we say and do.
