Located in the old post office in downtown Nicholasville, Urban Village is a legacy ministry of Nicholasville Presbyterian Church, a congregation that served Nicholasville and Jessamine County for nearly 200 years. We are so grateful for their faith and  generostiy that enabled the vision of an Urban Village to come to fruition.  

The mission of Urban Village is to be a
place where all people are welcome and where each person can grow in mind, body, and spirit. 
To this end, Urban Village has an indoor play area for children and youth; we offer martial arts classes for children, youth, and adults; and a faith-based youth group for 5th through 8th graders. 

During the school year we have an after school program for elementary students that engages children in physical and creative activities and provides healthy snacks, homework help, and a place to build friendships.

Our summer camps cover a wide variety of topics and interests. These camps are open to all kids ages 6 through 11.

Our next big plan is to begin a time for parents and their toddlers/preschoolers to come and play. We hope to pilot this program during the summer of 2024.
